William "Billy" Leroy Walton, age 58, longtime Choteau resident, died Friday, August 8, 2014 at Missouri River Manor in Great Falls.
He was born December 9, 1955 in Anchorage, Alaska, the son of Leroy and Helen (Brewster) Walton. He was raised and educated in Choteau and moved to Middleton, Idaho where he lived until returning to Choteau in 1993.
He was married to Bonnie Louise Bleecker on May 3, 1999 in Coeur d'Alene, ID. He was a veteran of the US Army and was a manager/bartender for the Wagon Wheel Bar in Choteau.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, mechanical work and antler crafting. His greatest joy was participating in family activities.
Billy is survived by his wife, Bonnie of the home; children: Luke Walton of Beaverton, OR, Tara and Tanner Walton, both of Choteau, MT, 2 brothers: Don Russette and Jay Hardman, both of Idaho and a sister: Kim Johnson of Choteau, MT.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
An Time of Remembrance will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 23, 2014 at Gorder Jensen Funeral Home in Choteau. Cremation has taken place.
