Vicki Carden

January 4, 1957 — August 4, 2022

Vicki Lea Carden, 65 of Choteau, passed away August 4, 2022 at Benefis Hospital in Great Falls, Montana after a battle with heart failure and heart break. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Gorder-Jensen Funeral Home in Choteau and per Vicki's wishes no services will be held.



Vicki was born January 4, 1957 in Choteau, Montana to Glen Jr. and Gladys (Nesbit) Wiseman, she was one of four children. Vicki spent her childhood in Choteau and when she was about 13 years old the family moved to Libby, Montana.



In the 70s Vicki met Laurence Carlberg and the couple were married. Shortly after they moved to Washington state. In 1981 Vicki was blessed with her first son Christopher L. Carlberg.



Vicki and Laurence separated in 1984 and a few years later Vicki met the love of her life, Keven F. Carden. She was working as a cook at a restaurant across the street and when she saw Keven it was love a first sight. The couple was married March 3, 1989 in Aberdeen, Washington and were together for over 38 years. In 1993 they welcomed their youngest child, Thomas, to the family. In 1994 Vicki and her family moved back to her home town and into what was formerly her Grandma Wiseman's house.



Vicki worked at the Circle N Restaurant as a cook for many years. In July of 1998 she went to work for Steve and Terri Nyland at the Choteau Ace Hardware. She worked at the Choteau Ace for just over 22 years until her retirement in 2020.



Vicki enjoyed cooking, collecting bird houses, working in her garden and yard, shopping, creating masterpieces on photo shop, making greeting card and collecting dreamsicle figurines. Above all else, Vicki enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. Vicki was an amazing mother, wife and friend with a heart of gold. She will be dearly missed.



Vicki is survived by her sons Christopher L. (Tami-Lea) Carlberg of Washington and Thomas Carden of Choteau, Montana. Step-daughters Nikki Feback (Crystal Capps) of Texas and Kristina Green of Great Falls, Montana. Sister Doris (Donald) Wilson of Libby, Montana; brother Jack (Diane) Wiseman of Helena, Montana and Russell (Linda) Larson of Washington. As well as 9 step-grandchildren, 1 step great-grand child, her best friend Diane Bishop and numerous extended family members and lifelong friends.



Vicki was preceded in death by her husband and best friend Keven Carden who passed away earlier this year, her parents Glen and Gladys Wiseman, her step granddaughter ShyAnn Green and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
