Terry Gene "Catfish" Caldwell, 61, of Choteau passed away March 5, 2021 at Benefis Hospital in Great Falls, Montana after a battle with illness.
A visitation will be held at Gorder-Jensen Funeral Home Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm and a Funeral Service, Friday March 12, 2021 at 2:00 pm with a burial following services in Choteau Cemetery.
Terry was born February 12, 1960 in Teton County Montana to Claude E. Caldwell and Elizabeth Ann Bruno. Terry was raised by his grandparents Jack and Dottie Bruno due to his mother passing away when he was age 4. Terry attended school in Choteau and graduated with the class of 1978.
Following high school Terry went to work. He worked as a landscape architect, a mason and was always spending time working on cars. Terry loved to play the guitar, fish, hunt and watch old westerns. His day always started with a few episodes of "Lets Make a Deal" and "The Price is Right".
Terry is survived by his sons Harley Caldwell of Dillon, MT and Savoy Cole Gebhart of Washington State and his daughter Carli Gebhart of Conrad, MT; a brother Mike Immerman of Conrad, MT, step-children, Mary Smith and Larry Smith Jr. of Washington State and 8 grandchildren as well as numerous extended family and lifelong friends.
Terry was proceeded in death by his wife Jule Schattilly-Caldwell, his daughter Crystal Caldwell, his brother Lee Haberman, sister Cindy Caldwell, mother-in-law Linda Schattilly and brother-in-law Arnold
Schattilly.
