Sandra was born December 5, 1938 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Odis A. and Moyne (Marshall) Poole. Sandra was raised in Oklahoma City and attended school at Classen High School, graduating with the class of 1957. Following high school, Sandra went into the work force, building herself a career as an administrative assistant. She worked for Production Credit as an administrative assistant and she was an office manager at Panhandle Telecasting. She worked at Ambassador Media the longest as their business manager and CFO. However, the job that brought her the most pride was being a mother to her two sons, Robert and James "Mitch".

Sandra met the love of her life and best friend Harry P. Neuhardt in Amarillo, Texas and the couple was married October 19, 1983. She lived in Amarillo for a total of 20 years before moving to Idaho. Sandra loved to read, she read anything and everything she could get her hands on. She was heavily involved with the Zonta Foundation for Women during her 17 years in Pocatello, Idaho. She was a board member of the Pocatello Zonta Club, she served a term as President and was even a delegate to Zonta International Annual World Conference. More than anything, Sandra loved to spend time with her husband, children and grandchildren. Sandra and Harry moved to Choteau, Montana just about a year ago to be closer to Mitch and his family.

Sandra is survived by her husband Harry P. Neuhardt of Choteau, Montana. Two sons Robert M. Griffis of Amarillo, Texas and James M. "Mitch" Griffis of Choteau, Montana. Five brothers Michael, Ronald, Donald, Tommy and Pat Poole and five grandchildren Ryan, Aubree, Trenton, Joy and Chee.
