Phyllis Lewis

Phyllis Louise Lewis, age 85, of Choteau, MT and formerly of Fairfield, MT died Saturday, March 23, 2013 at the Teton Nursing Home in Choteau, MT from natural causes. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Gorder Jensen Funeral Home. Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, July 11th, 2013 at the Grace Lutheran Church in Fairfied, MT. Phyllis was born August 27. 1927 in Belt, MT, the daughter of Alvin and Florence (Wellington) Pennecard. She attended school in Whitefish, MT. She married Marvin Lewis Jr. on November 27, 1946 in Great Falls, MT and he preceded her in death on November 9, 1996. She worked as a waitress and a homemaker.



Phyllis was a member of the Eagles and the VFW Auxiliary in Fairfield and she enjoyed bowling, pool, fishing, crocheting and she loved to play cards.



She is survived by children: Faye (Charles) Walt of Phoenix, AZ, Kay Moody and Terry (Marg) Lewis, both of Fairfield, MT; 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.



She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a brother: Wayne Pennecard.
