Paula Reynolds

July 28, 1939 — July 2, 2025

Paula Reynolds passed away on July 2, 2025, in Great Falls, Montana from a heart attack and complications from Diabetes. She was born in Globe Arizona and her family later moved to San Diego, California. At a very young age, she assumed the role of family matriarch and never stepped out of that role. In her mid-twenties, she married start-up businessman, Steve Giffin, and together they ushered their young sport-fishing business to the next level while simultaneously creating a rich and cozy childhood for their two children. In her forties, she married Herk Reynolds, which gave birth to not only a new and wonderful blended family, but also Reynolds Construction. Together they ran Reynolds Construction until they retired and moved to Surprise, Arizona. Paula, a natural force field, had a way of absorbing everything the world dished out so as to reconfigure it in a way to pave an easier path for those she loved. Her family is eternally grateful. They are: Steve Giffin (Decd); Norbert "Herk" Reynolds (Decd); Pam Ibarra (Decd); Joe and Jacob Ibarra; Keith and Ida Stark; Jami and Madison Thiel; John and Kathy Reese; Steve Giffin Jr.; Rod Reynolds (Decd); Cathy Reynolds; Greg Reynolds; Rick London (Decd); Ryan London; Jordan McCall; Scott Reynolds; Bryan Reynolds and RJ Reynolds. A woman of many passions, her most notable and long-lasting was cooking. Ironically, a long-time diabetic, she focused her talents on desserts, which became legendary at Happy Trails events. Late in life, she met Fred Tesch who cared for and nurtured her the way she had always done for others. He introduced her to the picturesque landscape of Montana and surrounding areas. You could hear the awe in her voice as she described her travels. As it turns out, her last memory was in Choteau and knowing Paula, she wouldn't have it any other way.
