Pamela Johnson

November 29, 1960 — February 13, 2023

Pamela "Pam" Lee (Lorenz) Johnson, 62 of Choteau, passed away peacefully February 13, 2023 at Benefis Teton Medical Center in Choteau. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Gorder-Jensen Funeral Home and a Celebration of her life will be held March 2, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Gorder-Jensen Funeral Home.



Pam was born November 29, 1960 to David Vernon and Doris Lorraine (Weaver) Lorenz in Rapid City, SD. When Pam was little the family moved quite frequently due to David being enlisted in the US Military, however in 1969 the family settled in Helena, MT. She attended school in Helena and later went on to graduate from the SWAP program, which teaches basic life skills, at the age of 20.



In 1993 Pam moved to Choteau, MT and she met the love of her life and best friend, Byron Johnson, at Choteau Activities. The couple was married July 28, 2007 at the Choteau County Club. She worked as a store clerk and cashier at the Full Circle Thrift Shop and attended numerous events at Choteau Activities.



Pam enjoyed painting, playing Bingo, collecting knickknacks, especially dolphins, kitties, horses and other various animals. She enjoyed hanging out with friends, having breakfast at the Outpost Deli, attending Bulldog football games and attending church. Pam loved to have her nails painted and she had very beautiful nails. Pam loved the Montana Grizzlies and even had the opportunity to attended a few games with her family. Pam was a very cheerful soul and had a great smile and she will be sorely missed by those that knew her.



Pam is survived by her brother Darrin Lorenz, brother- in- law Randy Jerome, her nieces Hannah (Alex) Evans and Jamie (Josh Kline), nephews Ryan (Amy McNulty) Lorenz, Josiah Jerome (and family) and Jorri Jerome ; sisters-in-law Bonnie, Carol and Helen as well as their families and spouses and all of Byron's extended family.



Pam went on to be reunited in death with her parents, David and Doris; sister Penney Jerome; brother David Lorenz; nephew Gabriel Jerome; husband, Byron Johnson and her special friends Pearl and Charlene Anderson.
