Nina Paddock

Nina Margaret Paddock passed away surrounded by her family at Peace Hospice on December 23, 2016. She was 77.
She was born in Anaconda, MT to Kathleen Schafer on April 25, 1939. She grew up in Stanford, MT with her family until she married Dale Paddock on May 24, 1956. They lived and farmed on the Fairfield bench. Nina worked in town at the local convenience store for almost 30 years. She retired in 2015 and devoted her remaining time to her grandchildren.
Nina was a kind and forthright woman who unwaveringly supported her family and community. She joined the Red Hat Society later in life and enjoyed traveling, reading, crafting, and pouring her time and love into her grandchildren.
She is survived by her four children: daughter and son-in-law Marilynn and Marvin Hanson, daughter and son- in-law Karen and Burt Fisher, son and daughter-in-law Duane and Kelly Paddock, son Bruce Paddock and his former wife Kyla Segmiller. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren Kory, Amber, Megan, Jordan, Daneal, Dustin, Allie, Mariah and Clay and her 5 1/2 great-grandchildren Justin, Kelby, Marty, Avery, Zach, and Aiden (arriving in January). She is preceded in death by her mother Kit, husband Dale and her beloved granddaughter Tayler.
Services will be held at Faith Bible Church on Saturday December 31, 2016 at 11:00. Following the service is a luncheon to be held at the Fairfield Community Hall.
In the spirit of the Red Hat Society that meant so much to Nina, please feel free to dress in red or purple.
