Michael Immerman

November 18, 1952 — August 14, 2022

Michael R. Immerman "Biker Mike", 69 of Conrad, passed away August 14, 2022 at Logan Healthcare in Conrad, MT. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Gorder-Jensen Funeral Home and a celebration of Mike's life will take place Saturday; September 10, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Gorder-Jensen Funeral Home in Choteau. Part of Mike's remains will be laid to rest in the Metis Native American Cemetery in the North Fork of Teton Canyon while the rest will be spread as per his wishes.



Mike was born November 18, 1952 in Choteau, MT. to Merrill Immerman and Elizabeth Bruno. He was raised in the Choteau area and attended school at Choteau High School. Mike excelled in high school football and graduated with the class of 1971. Mike spent most of his life in the Choteau and Conrad areas however he did live in Minnesota for a time.



As a young man, Mike learned the art of carpentry from his uncle, Cleo Lensing; and later became a master carpenter himself. He spent the early 80's traveling in the oil field, working as a roughneck and a drill hand. He was also proficient at working with concrete and worked as a concrete finisher.



Mike enjoyed playing pool and recently won the Horizon Lodge Pool Tournament. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and spending time with family and friends. He loved a good joke and strived to find a new one each day.



Mike is survived by his aunt, Jean Lensing; best friend and cousin, Mark (Judy) Lensing; sister, Crystal Gebhart; brother Martin (June) Immerman; sister-in-law Kay Knight; nieces, Beth Marie Caldwell, Carli Gebhart and Jennifer Haberman, Diane Gustufson, Debbie Malo, Crystal Dodds; nephews, Terry Lee Haberman, Harley Caldwell and Cole Gebhart, Curt Immerman and Cory Immerman; grand-nieces and nephews, Kaden, Kenzi and Ari Gebhart; 10 great nieces and nephews;6 great-great nieces and nephews; a good friend, Lois Egert and his daughter, April Lee, whom he had no contact with since infancy.



Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Bruno; his grandpa, Jack Bruno, who raised him after the passing of his mother. His father, Merrill Immerman; a sister, Cyndi Caldwell; brothers, Keith "Skip" Knight; Lee Haberman and Terry Caldwell; uncle Cleo Lensing; a nephew, Steven Haberman; a niece, Cystal Caldwell and a cousin, John Lensing.



Mike was a monthly sponsor of savethechildren.org and he donated generously for school supplies and clothing each year. In that same spirit donations in Mike's name are suggested to similar charities or towards his funeral expenses.
