Michael Dauwalder

Michael Earl Dauwalder, 56, of Dutton, MT passed away Thursday July 5th, 2018 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. He was born June 18, 1962 to Robert and Judy (Meyer) Dauwalder in Choteau, MT. Michael graduated from Chester High School in 1980. He attended MSU, and was a pioneer in computer programming. He owned his own cyber center, and also worked as a volunteer fireman and EMT. He was a loving son, devoted father to Karri and Jordan, and was the best grandpa to his grandchildren. Michael was always up for an adventure and always willing to help those in need no matter the time of day or distance. Mike never missed an opportunity to help anyone in need. Those who he encountered were treated as lifelong friends, he had a big heart and shared it freely. In his free time he enjoyed reading, studying his bible, and gardening.



Michael is survived his parents, children Jordan Dauwalder of Williston, ND and Karri (Eric) Sundgren of Chester, MT, four grandchildren; Scarlet, Gwen, Finn, and Archer Sundgren. Also surviving are his brother Mark Dauwalder and his sister Stacey Middleton.



There will be a Celebration of Life that will be held at the Stage Stop Inn Event Center, Choteau, MT, starting at 1:00 PM Thursday, July 12, 2018. Burial to follow in Choteau Cemetery.
