Linda Ann Wright
January 6, 1949 - June 13,2025

Linda Ann Wright, beloved wife, mother, sister, friend, and caregiver, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on January 6, 1949, in Albany, California, to Harry and Esther Lindstrom. Affectionately known as "Lin," she grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and graduated from Richmond Union High School in 1967.

Linda pursued higher education at Humboldt State College, earning her degree in 1971. Later, driven by a deep desire to care for others, she studied nursing at Peninsula College in Port Angeles, Washington. She found her true calling in elder care, working with compassion and skill in the Port Angeles area for Lutheran Homes hospitals before relocating to Choteau, Montana, in 1981. There, she continued her nursing career at what is now Teton Medical Center, later providing care through Easter Seals home health and the Teton County Nursing Home.

In Choteau, Lin met the love of her life, Larry Wright. They were married on November 10, 1984, spending almost 41 years building a life together. They welcomed their first daughter, Laura, in 1986. In 1989, the family moved to a peaceful farm west of town, embracing the quiet life they loved. Their second daughter, Leanne, was born in 1991. In 2005, the family also established a home in Fairfield while continuing to operate their farm.

Lin found peace and inspiration in nature. She loved hiking, camping, and exploring the Rocky Mountain Front and Glacier National Park. A talented photographer, Lin captured the beauty of Montana's wildlife and seasonal landscapes. After retiring from nursing, she devoted more time to her passion for photography.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Harry W. and Esther R. Lindstrom. She is survived by her husband, Larry Wright of Fairfield; daughters Laura Wright of Dillon, and Leanne Wright (Brandon Chatfield) of Helena; sister Sandy Richards and brother-in-law Ray Richards Sr. of Clear Lake, CA; nephew Ray Richards Jr., niece Stacey Murray, and lifelong friend Marilyn Foreman. She also leaves behind her cherished four-legged companion, Zoie.

A memorial service for Linda will be held Saturday, June 28, 2025 at the United Church of Christ in Fairfield, Montana. A Reception will follow the services.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Linda's memory may be made to Bright Eyes Animal Shelter in Choteau, Montana.
