Jean H Bruno Lensing, 88, of Choteau passed away peacefully April 29, 2023. A memorial service will be held on May 6th, 2023 at 2:00 pm in the Frontier Funeral Home Chapel.
Jean was born to John “Jack” Bruno and Ioala Pearl (Sinclair) Bruno on March 23, 1935 in Choteau, Montana. Jean met and married Cleo H. Lensing June 20st, 1950 in Helena. They were married for 65 years. During which time they welcomed three children; John, Carla and Mark. Jean liked to say that she grew up with her kids, which in a way she did. Jean held several jobs in her time but loved none more than being a Teton County Dispatcher. She enjoyed adventures in camping, snowmobiling, fishing, motorcycle riding, sledding through the pasture and just about anything that sounded like fun. She and June spent countless hours in the mountains and at Eureka Lake. Jean even enjoyed placing the occasional $5.00 bet into a passing poker machine.
She had fond memories of traveling with her husband, Cleo, to South Dakota and California. Throughout her life she lived in Washington state, Cut Bank, and North Dakota before settling back in Choteau residing at the Skyline Lodge. Jean found great pleasure in the visits of her lady friends and just about anyone else she met. She will forever be missed but not forgotten.
Jean is survived by daughter, Carla (Vince) Sullivan of Cut Bank, MT; Son, Mark (Judy) Lensing of Choteau; daughter-in law, Karen Lensing of Great Falls; grandchildren, Dustin, Jason, Camron, Cody, K.C., and Christina, as well as, 14 great-grandchildren.
Jean is preceded in death by parents, Jack and Pearl Bruno; Husband, Cleo H. Lensing; Son, John Lensing; Brother, Raymond Bruno; Sister, Elizabeth Caldwell.
