Janice K. Thompson was born September 5th,1954 to Orval Bruce Thompson and Genevieve (Dickson) Thompson in Choteau, Montana. She was raised in Geraldine, MT graduating from Great Falls High School's Special Education program in 1972.

Jan worked as a Deli clerk at the IGA on 25th street in Great Falls, MT for 20 years. Great Falls was her home for at least 50 years. She found great joy in her embroidery work.

Jan is survived by her sisters Connie (Sherwin) Smith of Choteau and Caro (Steve) Knecht of Helena. Nieces and nephews; Danielle (Jay) Mooney, Brent (Trisha) Smith, Sara (Beau) Decker, Kurt Knecht, great-nieces and nephews; Kori and Cyan Mooney, McKenzie and Keaghan Smith, Gunnar, Brody and Kennedy Decker, Mia and Anna Knecht. She is also survived by her beloved "fur babies" Maxwell, Candy and Brandy, along with her dear friend Bonnie.

Proceeding Jan in death were her grandparents; Joseph and Jessie Dickson, Charles and Gladys Thompson and her parents Bruce and Jenny Thompson.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Frontier Funeral Home in Choteau, Montana. There will not be any service held per the family's request.
