Heather Fellows

Heather Waite Fellows age 87 passed away peacefully on April 18th, 2024, at Teton Medical Center. Heather, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, left a profound impact on all who knew her. Heather is survived by her loving children, Cathleen Fellows, Mark (Pam) Fellows, and Michael (Gayle) Fellows. She was a cherished grandmother to Quest, Libbey, Stephaney, and Kaitlyn Fellows. Heather also leaves behind her siblings, Don (Nancy) Waite, Gloria (Bill) Miller, and Bob (Francie) Waite, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her dearly.

Heather was born Oct 3rd, 1936 in Lewistown, Montana. She was raised in Utica, Montana and was one of seven siblings. After high school she attended college at Eastern Montana college and graduated with a degree in teaching. Upon graduation her first job was in Lodge Grass, Montana as an elementary school teacher. It was there she met the love of her life Charlie Fellows. They were married on January 16th, 1959. They started their family in Lodge Grass on the family farm then moved to Choteau, Montana after Charlie and Heather bought a cattle ranch in 1972. They were happily married for sixty-three years. They both resided on the family ranch in Choteau until Charlie's passing in April of 2022.

A family graveside service will be held on April 29, 2024 at the Choteau Cemetery. Memorials can be made to Choteau Volunteer Fire Department and Bright Eyes Animal Shelter.
