Glenna Stott-Peebles, of Choteau, passed away March 8, 2021 surrounded by loved ones at Benefis Teton Medical Center; she was 95 years young.Funeral Services will take place Thursday, March 18, 2021 at 10:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Choteau, Montana with a burial following in Choteau Cemetery under the guidance of Gorder-Jensen Funeral Home. Services will be live streamed over Zoom. Please use Meeting ID: 2857880546 Password: 59422 to join.Glenna was born December 16, 1925 in Dushane, Utah to Roy and Alta (Jensen) Stott, she was one of six children. In the spring of 1928, at 3 years of age, the family moved to the newly opened Bynum Irrigation Project. Glenna grew up outside of Bynum, Montana where she attended country school at Bynum Elementary. She attended and graduated from Choteau Highschool.Glenna fell in love with John A. Peebles and the couple was married June 22, 1947 in Bynum, Montana and were blessed with two sons, John and Bill. Family and religion were Glenna's passions, she was a homemaker by trade, but so much more to her family and close friends. She loved her faith and was often affiliated with many church groups. Once asked, what was the biggest change she had seen in 95 years? She said "the arrival of electricity and indoor plumbing."Glenna is survived by her sons John (Karen) Peebles and Bill (Sonja) Peebles both of Choteau, her brothers Lloyd and Cloyd Stott of Choteau and Stan Stott of Billings; four grandchildren Johnny (Shanae) Peebles of Choteau; Kylee (Luke) Coccoli of Dupuyer; Thane (Amanda) Peebles of Billings and Luke Peebles of Nebraska, as well as three great-grandchildren, Adelin Judith JoAnn Peebles; Baret Martin Coccoli and Gertrude "Gertie" Rae Coccoli.Glenna was preceded in death by her husband John Peebles, her parents Roy and Alta Stott a brother, Leslie Stott and a sister, Afton (Stott) Martin.In Lieu of flowers memorials in Glenna's name may be sent to Benefis Teton Medical Center in Choteau.Condolences may be left on-line at www.gorderjensenfuneralhome.com
