Florence Cherry, age 95, of Choteau, MT passed away on Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at the Teton Medical Center Extended Care Unit in Choteau, Mt from natural causes. Visitation will be held at Gorder Jensen Funeral Home from 1:0-0 PM to 3:00 PM Saturday, April 28th. Private family graveside services will be held Monday at the Choteau Cemetery and a Remembrance Service and Reception will be held on July 5th at 11:00 AM. Arrangements are under the direction of Gorder Jensen Funeral Home of Choteau.
Florence was born August 26, 1916 in Dupuyer. She was married to Wesley Ambrose Cherry on August 28, 1934 in Choteau and he preceded her in death.
Florence was a retired secretary and bookkeeper for the Teton County School Superintendents Office. She enjoyed needlework, ceramics, cooking and reading.
She is survived by a daughter, Fern Vaughn of Quesnel, BC and a son, Dr. W.E. "Ed" Cherry of Sterling, IL;
7 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
Florence was preceded in death by her husband.
