Florence "Flo" Bullock-Anderson of Fairfield and Choteau, MT.; passed away peacefully January 9, 2020 at Benefis Teton Medical Center in Choteau, MT. just two days before her 98th birthday.
Flo was born January 11, 1922 in Newtown Square, PA. to Daniel W. and Deborah (Roberts) Bullock. She was one of seven children born and raised on the family farm. Growing up Flo was always out doing farm work with the boys, which she loved.
Flo graduated from Easttown High School and went into straight into the work force. She lived most of her life in Pennsylvania working and raising her family. She married Norman Anderson in Elkton, Maryland and they had 8 children. She worked many jobs in Pennsylvania including working as a telephone operator. After moving to Montana she worked at Choteau Activities Group Home and Flo's last formal but most beloved job was eldercare in Teton County. She lived in their homes and they became like family to her.
Flo enjoyed feeding birds, doing puzzles, gardening, watching old westerns on TV, especially movies with John Wayne, and caring for her grandchildren.
Flo is survived by her children John Anderson of Fairfield, MT., Nancy Williams of FL., Bill Anderson of PA., Tom Anderson of Fairfield, MT., Betsy Barth of Great Falls, MT., Robert Anderson of PA., and Debby Anderson of FL. As well as 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Flo was preceded in death by her parents her husband, Norman, and infant son, Sonny, as well as all 6 of her siblings.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Gorder-Jensen Funeral Home and at Flo's request there will be no funeral services. The family will have a private ceremony at a later date.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Fairfield School Lunch Program, to help pay for school lunch tickets.
