Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, February 2, 2012 at the Trinity Lutheran Church for L. Evelyn LeDesky, age 86, of Choteau, MT who died Friday, January 27, 2012 at the Benefis Health Care in Great Falls from natural causes. Burial will be in the Choteau Cemetery following her funeral services under the direction of Gorder Jensen Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at the funeral home.
Evelyn was born April 22, 1925 at Fort Washakie, WY, the daughter of John and Betty (Finch) Stoll. She married Earl LeDesky on October 5, 1946 in Great Falls, MT. She was a homemaker and also worked in retail sales at The Bon (formerly Paris of Montana) in Great Falls. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Great Falls and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Choteau.
She was a summer resident of Choteau for 19 years and moved to Choteau full-time 3 years ago from Mesa, AZ. She was an artist and enjoyed playing golf when younger. She was a past member of the Great Falls Garden Club and was active in her children and grandchildren's activities.
Evelyn is survived by her husband, Earl LeDesky of Choteau; children: Terry LeDesky of Oak Harbor, WA and Sarah Vicki Lewin of San Francisco, Ca; and grandchildren, Rachael Michele Lewin of San Francisco, CA and Elisa Kay LeDesky of Oak Harbor, WA.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 6 brothers and 5 sisters.
