Elizabeth Headley

Funeral mass will be celebrated at 2:00 PM Thursday, March 8, 2012 at the Little Flower Catholic Church in Browning, Mt for Elizabeth Jackie (Many Hides) Headley, age 56, of Browning who died Friday, March 2, 2012 at the Blackfeet Community Hospital in Browning from cancer. A wake will be held from Monday to service-time on Thursday at the Glacier Homes Community Center in Browning and a Rosary Service will be held at 7:00 PM Wednesday, March 7th at the Glacier Homes Community Center in Browning. Interment will be in the Many Hides Family Cemetery under the direction of Gorder Jensen Funeral Home of Choteau.



She was born May 30, 1955 in Browning, MT, the daughter of John Sandy and Mary Jane Many Hides. She was a homemaker and spent most of her life in Browning.



She enjoyed listening to Indian music, going to Pow Wows, spending time with her grandchildren, picnics and family activities, watching basketball and also traveling to Wyoming for Sun Dances.



She is survived by 5 children: Ladine Headley, John Headley Jr., Stephen Headley and Faline Headley, all of Browning, Mt, and Shawn Headley of Ethete, WY.; a sister: Carla Medicine Elk of Browning and 8 grandchildren: Mikayla talks About and Jocalynn Talks About, both of Browning; Charles Moss of Ethete, WY; John Headley III and Freddy Iron Shirt, both of Browning; Gerome Headley and Amare Headley, both of Nevada and LaRan Gallineaux Jr. of Browning.



She was preceded in death by her parents, and 4 brothers: Orlando, John and Ronnie Sandy and Roderick Many Hides.
